I have another suggestion for an enhancement to the site. I appreciate you don't want to flood the site with all sorts of statistics, but how about a leaderboard with a list of everyone's best total time for one week?
I don't know what everyone thinks about that, but I would find it pretty interesting.

Well you can see that statistic in the forums here under your name, and I'm trying to steer clear of having "permanent" leaderboards where possible... hence the rolling 7-day ones. |

I'm with nevstyles - I'd love to have easy access to that stat.
You could save an extra page of statistics, and make the permanent ladder a bit subtle if you were to present the names in the "Members of Club 19/29/39/49/59" page in order of score rather than alpabetically under each club.
The "Members of Club 19/29/39/49/59" page doesn't have the individual times listed, so people would need to check out the forums to get actual scores anyway, if they are that way inclined.
I can appreciate some of the reasons for not having a permanent ladder, but it gives a kwontomlooper something to strive for, even if it is not the most accurate measure of a player's ability relative to others.
(As a practical consideration, if the Club Members page is currently updated only when someone joins a new club, it would need to also/instead be updated when someone beats their personal best time) |
