I noticed that some of it was symetric. When I started it I noticed som symetrical numbers. The ones I payed more attention to the corners. |

Do you mean the puzzle itself, or the solution? Because all of the puzzles on this site have some symmetry in the layout of the numbers... |

I noticed a pair of 233 corner patterns.
Can't believe it took me so long to spot that anti-highlander up the top! Turned a straightforward puzzle into a real uphill struggle, only noticing the easy way once I got the top of the hill and that was the only thing left to do. |

Are you referring to this:
Yeah, that made things much easier once you know that a line has to enter that 2 from the top. |
