It's confirmed: I'm a Kwontom Addict.
A few questions:
1. Are there more than the four categories I've spotted - Addict, Fan, Noob, Admin?
2. Are the categories just based on number of puzzles solved?
3. Was this somehow inspired by the ratings on goproblems.com? That's a bit left-field, but I imagine there'd be a strong correlation between Kwon-Tom Loop and Go players. tzukanion, OldBean, jamin and myself all play, and I suspect astrokath of pirating Go anime. |

3. Interesting... hadn't seen that site before! I played Go many years ago, but (a) never got very good and (b) never really found many people to play against, which probably explains (a). |

I have a Go board at home, but have never actually played, due to lack of opponents. When it comes to these type of things, my husband is somewhat reluctant to test his wits against mine, for some reason...
As for the last comment... ah, you'd be wrong there.
I'm not the only astrokath on the web, and have a completely different username on e-bay.
My secret identity remains a secret for at least another day!

0-10: noob
11-100: fan
101-200: addict
201-300: admin

I imagine that 'admin' will be able to edit forum posts, add puzzles etc., so it's a 'special' user level.

I just became an Addict But a 60 minute week feels pretty inaccessible. I've made steady improvement in times, but probably not enough to make the 59rs. Continuing to miss things so many other people must be seeing is frustrating. |
