Congrats Jankonyex.
I improved my time slightly, to 9:11 counting from last Wednesday through this Tuesday. (Then I messed it up with a bad Wednesday time today, 1:32 versus last week's 48s.) But I'm not sure if it "officially" counts, since I did five or six puzzles today and never actually saw yesterday's total. |

Thanks all, that was an easy week and it's over.
The next Club 9 member would probably be our new member Moon. This new comer solve puzzles incredibly fast and stable. Although today's Thursday puzzle is a deducible one, but it's not trivial, and solving it in just 0:50 needs extremely high level of observation power. On the other hands he/she solve the super-easy Monday puzzle in 1:08, which is a bit way too slow. Maybe, probably, that's due to mistake, I don't know. I would really like to invite him/her to share about his/her solving technique.

Right after I solve the puzzle, the record is like this:

It is really quite impossible to solve this week's Thursday puzzle in just 50 seconds. I've tried many times. Moon is probably a genius or a _______.

Yeah, I'm suspicious of this newcomer too. Looking at the current week's scores, Moon's times are roughly the same for all of the non-large puzzles (40-50 seconds), without regards to difficulty. In fact, Monday is their slowest. And just coming out of nowhere and posting times like these is in itself pretty weird.
I don't like to doubt people, but on the few occasions I've seen something like this in the past, it's always turned out to be cheating. |

Wow. That's both stupid and pathetic. But I suppose if they had the nous to use a different name, or to leave a gap between practice-play and cheat-play, they might not need to cheat at all...
Seriously, Moon? Are you there? Take a look at the earliest times we used to get, and how long it takes the average person to break club 59, let alone club 9. (And some of us are never likely to crack that last one.) There's no shame in being slow, because everyone improves on where they started! The only person who genuinely cares about your times is yourself. Do yourself a favour and take some pride in what you *can* achieve. |
