I've only been playing here about a month, but don't think I've seen the leaderboard as tight as it is today - the biggest gap is 14 minutes, and there's only 44 minutes from 1st to 10th. Everyone has someone to aim at overtaking or staying ahead of over the next week. And that's with names like drnull and itchfizzix missing. Hopefully it means the player-base is growing and improving and things will only get more competitive.
I wonder if you keep any stats on the growth of your site, foilman? How has "Puzzles Solved Yesterday" ranged? It would also be interesting to track over time the number of players completing all 7, maybe even the number within an hour, or two hours. Or within twice what astrokath scores.  |

The "puzzles solved yesterday" count seems to have stayed at roughly the same level - it's usually higher after a weekend but then settles down during the rest of the week. It has only been recorded for about a month, though, so it doesn't mean too much yet.
The number of registered users is slowly rising, we're up to 155 now; however, only 55 of them have logged in during the past week.
And you're right about it getting close at the top, I remember the days when I actually had a chance of getting on the daily champions list!!! |

Ack!! You cursed me. After reading this, I thought I should probably go back and get through this weekend's puzzles, and sure enough, saturday took me 35 minutes. Ugh.
I had a total brain freeze, made a mistake, and ended up having to restart it towards the end somewhere. Let's see what happens on Sunday's.  |

Don't worry -that's pretty much what I did on Sunday. Made a mistake (2 horizontal connections instead of going vertically) in the bottom right hand corner, and only realised when I'd completed it. Had to start from scratch, as I simply couldn't see where I'd gone wrong until I got there the second time round.
