Out of the 50+ puzzles I completed about five of them I started by mistake, because for example, I selected the “Current Puzzle” option instead of the nearby “Archive” or “Home” option. I read in the forum that others have similar misfortune. As a result, If I did not started the current puzzle yet, when surfing through the site I tend to have a constant fear in the back of my head of starting it inadvertently, I feel like I am walking on thin ice.
So the same way you are asked “Are you sure?” when you press the Reset button in the middle of a puzzle, I would like to suggest that every time you start a new puzzle(only the very first time) from the weekly challenge you are first asked “ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO START A WEEKLY CHALLENGE PUZZLE?”. The question should be asked regardless from where you start it: “Current Puzzle” option, Home Page or, Archive page. |

Nice idea, I like it! I'll put it in when I get some time, but I'll make it optional (configurable via your home page) so it doesn't annoy people who don't want it...  |

Works great! Especially since it doesn't ask for archived or previously started puzzles. |

God you are fast! I have tested everything I could think of and it is working perfectly. The critical test was when I started today puzzle, I wait a full minute before pressing "Yes" and then time myself manually to see if the extra waiting minute is added in the official completed time: it wasn't!
Now I can surf the site fearless
